Weird Bit in the What If...? One-Shots

After reading the various What If...? one-shots from Marvel I was a bit puzzled.
Having jokes in the back of What If...? issues is a time-honored tradition. I'm totally down with that (heck, John Rozum practically made his comics debut at Marvel doing those little back of the book gags).
